Multi-Timeframe Turning Points
See where higher timeframes are turning — directly on your chart
Every experienced trader knows: higher timeframe levels matter. A support level on the weekly chart carries more weight than one on the 5-minute chart. But tracking multiple timeframes means switching charts, losing focus, and hoping you remember where that level was.
Multi-Timeframe Turning Points (MTTP) eliminates this friction. When a weekly swing high forms, you see it on your 15-minute chart. When a monthly level gets tested, you know immediately. The bigger picture stays visible while you focus on execution.
Note: MTTP is currently in beta and included as a bonus for all SSI PRO subscribers.
The Problem It Solves
You're watching a 15-minute chart, looking for an entry. But is this level significant? Is it just noise on this timeframe, or does it align with something bigger?
Without multi-timeframe context, you're trading blind to half the picture. With MTTP, you see exactly where the daily, weekly, and monthly swings are positioned — without opening another chart.
10 Simultaneous Timeframes
MTTP can display turning points from up to 10 timeframes at once:
- 15-minute
- 1-hour
- 4-hour
- 2-day (from multi-day swing mode)
- 3-day (from multi-day swing mode)
- Daily
- Weekly
- Monthly
- Quarterly
- Yearly
Configure which timeframes matter to your trading style. A day trader might focus on 15min through Daily. A position trader might watch Daily through Yearly.
Features
Confluence Detection
When turning points from multiple timeframes cluster near the same price level, MTTP highlights these as confluence zones. A level where the 4H, Daily, and Weekly swings all converge creates stronger support/resistance than any single timeframe alone.
Confluence levels are categorized:
- Minor Confluence — 2 timeframes align
- Major Confluence — 3-4 timeframes align
- Mega Confluence — 5+ timeframes align
The more timeframes that agree, the more significant the level.
Pattern-Based Projections
MTTP calculates projections based on historical swing relationships. Six projection levels (50% to 200%) help anticipate where price might find support or resistance based on prior swing structure.
These aren't predictions — they're levels derived from the market's own behavior, giving you areas to watch rather than numbers pulled from thin air.
Cycle Intelligence Table
An optional table displays cycle information: when each timeframe last turned, the duration of recent swings, and projected timing for potential future turns. This keeps higher timeframe rhythm visible without cluttering your chart.
Fractal Analysis
Markets exhibit similar patterns at different scales. MTTP's fractal view helps you see how the structure on your trading timeframe relates to structure on higher timeframes — useful for understanding where you are in the larger cycle.
Clean Visual Hierarchy
Higher timeframes get more prominent visuals. A monthly turning point stands out more than an hourly one. This keeps your chart readable even with multiple timeframes active.
Color coding, line thickness, and label prominence all scale with timeframe significance.
How to Use MTTP
Identify the Dominant Trend
Look at the highest timeframe turns:
- Higher TF swings making higher highs → Dominant uptrend
- Higher TF swings making lower lows → Dominant downtrend
Trade with this trend on your lower timeframe for higher probability setups.
Find Confluence Levels
The most important levels are where multiple timeframe turns align. When you see turns from 3+ timeframes near the same price:
- Mark this as a key level
- Watch for reaction when price approaches
- Look for your normal entry trigger at this level
Combine with SSI PRO
The most powerful combination:
- Use MTTP to identify key levels from higher timeframes
- Use SSI PRO to analyze swing structure and ratios on your trading timeframe
- Enter when your timeframe confirms a turn at a higher timeframe level
SSI PRO tells you how the current swing compares to previous swings. MTTP tells you where the bigger picture levels are. Together, they give you both precision and context.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why don't I see many markers on my chart? Higher timeframe turns don't happen frequently. On a 15-minute chart watching Daily turns, you might only see a few markers per week. This is expected — those markers represent significant levels precisely because they don't form constantly.
Does this repaint? No. Turning points are only marked once confirmed by subsequent price action. Once marked, they never move or disappear.
How is this different from just having multiple charts open? MTTP shows you the information at a glance without mental overhead. You don't have to remember where that weekly level was or switch between tabs. The context is always visible while you focus on execution.
How do I get access? MTTP is currently in beta and included as a bonus for all SSI PRO subscribers. Subscribe to SSI PRO through Smart Swing Tools and you'll receive access to both indicators.
Beta Status
MTTP is fully functional but still receiving refinements based on user feedback. As a beta bonus for SSI PRO subscribers, you get early access to the indicator and direct input into its development. Features may be added or adjusted as we move toward the production release.
